My name is Shannon Forsythe…

and I started my company (LLC) in 2003. After graduating from Troy High School in 1993, I worked for a local commercial contractor for 10 years and some of my duties included: operating heavy equipment, working with concrete, CDL driving and eventually worked my way up to job foreman. I’m still proud to say in my first 10 years of working, I never missed one day of work! Over time, I realized I had a passion for building with my hands and the desire to work in the residential field where I can make a difference in people’s lives.

You may ask what got me into remodeling residential kitchens and bathrooms. When I was a young man in my 20s, my mother trusted me with remodeling every room in her house on weekends. That was the start of any journey taking on large projects and I never looked back. Then two major events happened:

1) My sister had moved to the gulf coast then Hurricane Katrina destroyed her home with 6 feet of water.

2) My stepdad developed ALS.

After traveling down south and staying in my camper while completely remodeling my sister’s house, I then made the bathrooms at my mother’s house handicap accessible for my stepdad. Once I had completed those projects, I made a decision that I wanted to help improve people’s lives. helping people is my passion and I have always been like that. Making my customer’s home remodeling dreams come true is the best part of my job.

We are a veteran owned company because after my son, Jacob spent 6 years in the Army National Guard and 1 year deployed in Syria, I offered him a partnership of the company. It was the ideal situation because Jacob is a hard worker and it have him the ability to stay home and enjoy his wife, Emma and children, Waylon and Millie.

My family is my greatest source of pride and I use the business as an opportunity to instill a strong work ethic and accountability in my childrenL Gage, LeAnn, Nadiya, and Micah. This wouldn’t be complete without mentioning my wife, Kristen, the one that stays in the background, always there to keep the ship on course.
